Hello,

I´m looking for one “Fixative” to create Designer Perfumes types.
Probably the best choice it´s one with no odor.
Could you mention some names?
And congratulations for the site!

Best regards,
Pedro

Thanks for stopping by, Angela. I think it's a fun challenge to only use natural materials, like people who make their own tempera paints with egg and pigment. But it's not for me. Natural perfuming can be expensive, and a lot of people just feel limited by the reduced range. So yeah, I personally use everything available.

I just started reading your article-and agree with you 100% about not limiting yourself to essential oils and the cost is not a lot cheaper than fragrance oils! I have only made soaps up to this point, I am now going to start with a bath fizz want to make body spritz, lotions, powders...it's endless!!! There are other soap makers that say they will only use essential oils but I find that I just can't limit myself to that! You stated my mind!
