A couple hundred dollars a year just isn’t worth recommending bogus products just to get a commission.  Your readership and friendship is worth a lot more, and ELG is primarily a personal blog, skill-sharing resource, and  community-building site.  The products I recommend, I really do believe in.  Most of the time, I’m a customer first, and then I wonder, “Hey, I wonder if they have an affiliate program, ’cause people on my website might really like this.”
