Would you like to learn to design and make your own professional-looking labels and packaging?
Once people get into making stuff - especially bath and body products - they start wanting to showcase their handmade creations with good looking packaging and labels. Especially if they want to sell them. The trouble is, not many people know how to do it!
Well, I know how. I used to be a graphic designer, and labels and business cards are, like, a graphic designer's bread and butter. Despite numerous job requests from crafters, I don't design as my job anymore. (Especially not web design - I'd rather do taxes than HTML.)
I'm going to TEACH you to design your own packaging and labels!
As you can imagine, this is a huge subject. I could spout design theory at you, but I doubt that would be very useful. So I need your help. I need you to take the poll below or email me with your most important question about making your own pagkaging.
Otherwise, I could end up talking about "trapping" and color separation, and you wouldn't have the faintest idea what I was talking about. I want to write useful stuff, not just artsy-fartsy theory that makes me feel important, but makes you feel very confused.
Free tutorials and articles.
All the tutorials and articles will be free, though I may write another book if there's enough interest. It's just fun and educational for me to do this. It keeps my design skills sharp (hey, don't use it and you lose it) and I get to make more crafty friends :)
So really, go ahead and take the poll below or email me with your questions about technical or artistic matters. You can even send photos of your existing packaging and ask for suggestions on how to improve it. I'll respond! I look forward to hearing from you.
